Flagstop Car Wash  While Flagstop falls under “auto service and maintenance”, which does allow us to remain open (according to government mandates), we have made the decision to temporarily close in the best interest of public health and safety. All Flagstop locations will close from Wednesday, March 25 through at least Wednesday, April 8th. This decision does not come lightly. While we may be able to remain open, we do not feel it is what is best for our customers or our team at this moment. We will take the steps necessary to take care of our staff for the remainder of this two week period, and will make a decision no later than Monday, April 6th as to whether we will re-open. It is likely that when our business does re-open, we will be under limited hours of operation. To our valued RVA Wash Club members, we have automatically delayed all club payments by 14 days. For example, if you were due to be charged on April 1st you will not be charged until April 15th. If we do not re-open within two weeks we will push the payments out again accordingly. This is a fluid situation and we are monitoring it as closely as possible. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

Wabash & Lake Advertising has started an altruistic campaign based on the strength of local businesses coming together to spread a message of hope, unity & strength. “Local. Together. Stronger. is more than just another ad, website or hashtag to share. We are promoting a mindset that is required right now. “This is not a club. There is no price to join,” says Joe Doran, owner of Wabash & Lake Advertising. “With the impact of COVID19 our community needs some form of positivity, a direction to rally around, and we’re asking everyone to join in.” Doran and his team have engaged dozens of local business owners, Chambers of Commerce, and Media Groups in the area to unify and share one common message. In addition to developing the website localtogetherstronger.com the team has ongoing social media posts and videos with the hashtag #localtogetherstronger and radio messages built to promote the importance of local business in our community, not just the companies W&L represents. There are no fees or memberships required to be a part of this movement and it has been designed to unify everyone who is a local business, nonprofit, or who is a supporter of local business. To learn more or to become involved visit LocalTogetherStronger.com, use the hashtag #LocalTogetherStronger on all of your social media posts when family and friends support a local business, when you help someone less fortunate, and when you support a local business or nonprofit. shelly@wabashandlakeconsulting.com
