State Fair of Virginia at the Meadow

The State Fair of Virginia returns to The Meadow Event Park Sept. 25 through Oct. 4. The fair showcases the best of Virginia agriculture and history while celebrating families, fun and food.

This year, look for an expanded Young MacDonald’s Farm with more animals and exhibits; Bluegrass Weekend featuring the fiddle and Deering Banjo competitions and musical guests the Steep Canyon Rangers; the Virginia Civil War Historymobile in the relocated Heritage Village; exciting new grounds entertainment; the expanded “Salute to Secretariat;” and all the fair foods you love, plus some exciting new additions.
