  The money is used to provide aid in times of financial crisis, hardships or emergency situations to Hanover County Emergency Responders, uniformed and civilian, both active and retired and HLE and Department full members in good standing, as well as, their immediate families.

  Join us for a blooming good time at the Mechanicsville High School Band Boosters Spring Garden & Craft Show! Celebrate the vibrant season of renewal and growth with a day of shopping, creativity, and community—while supporting the talented musicians in our school’s band program.

  This event is a fundraiser for the Mechanicsville High School Band, helping to provide essential resources and opportunities for our student musician and color guard. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the band program, including funding for instruments, uniforms, travel, and other important needs that support our musicians in their growth and success.

  The Disaster Recovery Workshop for Business is designed to help businesses strengthen their ability to recover from disruptions and disasters. This FREE workshop will be led by Lt. Daniel Gordon, Deputy Emergency Manager, Hanover Fire-EMS. Lt. Gordon will provide practical guidance and worksheets on disaster preparedness, business continuity planning, and strategies to minimize financial and operational disruptions. Attendees will learn how to assess risks, develop emergency response plans, and access recovery resources to ensure business resilience in the face of unexpected events. Whether you own a small business or manage a larger operation, this session will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to safeguard your business and recover quickly.

  Workshop is free, registration is necessary.

Millie’s Home is a Christian, non-profit organization committed to empowering mothers who lack needed support, as they navigate the challenges of pregnancy and early motherhood by providing housing, job training, trauma-informed care, and mentors to help them create and navigate a life plan and build a healthy family.
