Grand "LOVE" Sign Reveal

We are delighted to invite you to the official debut of Hanover’s newest LOVE sign. This isn't just any sign—it’s a labor of love (and a bit of Hanover "Mater" magic) dreamed up by the Hanover 250th Commission and brought to life by hundreds of our talented middle and high school students.
The 16ft x 4ft LOVE sign is covered with a mosaic of tiles, front and back. Inspired by the motto E Pluribus Unum ("Out of many, one"), this piece reflects our Hanover community and our greater nation — a beautiful tapestry of unique pieces uniting to form a powerful whole.
After months of hard work from our student artists and educators, the Hanover Education Foundation is ready to pull back the curtain and share this masterpiece with the community.

Location: Patrick Henry High School, Auditorium
Following this casual and fun ceremony, "Mater" will hit the road! Throughout 2026, you’ll spot the sign at some of the most historic and exciting Hanover 250th signature events.
