ASHLAND TOWN COUNCIL ADOPTED SUPPORT GRANT

With funding from the American Rescue Plan Act grant program, Town Council has adopted a Venue Support Grant to assist eligible venues with losses suffered during the pandemic. The goal of the Town of Ashland’s Venue Support Program is to provide financial assistance to businesses and non-profit organizations in the tourism and entertainment industry that are primarily supported through ticketed or paid attendance at their physical location within the Town of Ashland. Businesses and organizations in the tourism and entertainment industry with physical locations were most severely impacted economically by COVID-19 due to public safety and health regulations that required their closure for months. Attached is the program description.  It can also be found on our website.

To apply, please prepare a letter addressing all bullet points in the “Eligibility Section” in the attached document and submit it along with the required documents to dougg@ashlandva.gov no later than Monday, January 24, 2022. If you have questions about your eligibility or applicability of this grant program to your venue or business, please contact Doug Goodman at dougg@ashlandva.gov or call at (804) 798-8617. We would be happy to discuss this and see if your business or organization venue could take advantage of this opportunity.
