Support Elmont Elementary PTA's Cardinal Camp Initiative
The Elmont Elementary School K-5 Cardinals will participate in "clubs" facilitated by staff members during the school day that will give students the opportunity to connect with adults, make friends, and develop new abilities, including social-emotional skills. The Cardinal Camp will begin in February.
Research shows that resilience from adversity is built through positive connections with adults, positive peer relationships, and the feeling that one is good at something one enjoys. Cardinal Camp aims to support the development of all three of these principles.
Many of the clubs need items such as sports equipment, game boards, art supplies, etc. Your donations for materials/equipment will make Cardinal Camp possible. All donations are tax-deductible.
