Business thrives in hanover county

Who Thrives? Hundreds of industries are represented across our county. Agriculture, manufacturing, financial services, coaching, retail, food, legal services, tourism...they're all here. Companies of all sizes and missions make up our rich local economy.

Thriving How? Our local community is strong because our partnerships are strong. Business owners, land developers and nonprofits in Mechanicsville know those in Ashland and vise versa. They shop with fellow Chamber members first and we love to shop local. We know our Hanover Sheriff's Deputies, Fire/EMS stations and school's Superintendent. Area elected officials - from local Board of Supervisors to Town Council to State legislators - meet professionals personally at various events. We stay in-the-know on economic development efforts and encourage the positive growth and support of area businesses.

Thriving Together. Hanover is a community that wants to work together to create beneficial partnerships between business owners, area leaders and local resources. That's what the Hanover Chamber of Commerce is - a resource. We champion good connections, ethical leaders and a strong neighborhood for the sole entrepreneur, large employer, passionate nonprofit and everyone in between.
