The event is a benefit for Hanover Safe Place in Ashland. Hanover Safe Place is a non-profit organization providing confidential services to persons who experience domestic or sexual violence in Hanover County, VA and the Town of Ashland since the early 1990s. Included in these services are a free and confidential 24-hour crisis hot line, emergency shelter, support groups and case management. Last year, Hanover Safe Place served over 3,000 individuals in Hanover County.

Hanover Community Calendar events are promoted by the Hanover Chamber of Commerce but are not in any way sponsored, organized, or run by the Chamber. If there are any questions regarding a community event, contact the organizer.
